CRUD-1-JS
An early product-list exercise. Add, list, and delete sample products in browser memory. A starting point, with its limits documented.
Building software with AI.
Learning what makes it work.
Code can open new possibilities.
I’m learning to build them.
Computer Science at De Anza College.
Web applications, backend systems, and a builder’s curiosity.

01 / SELECTED WORK
Open source, honest scope, and a clear next step. These are the projects behind my learning.
An early product-list exercise. Add, list, and delete sample products in browser memory. A starting point, with its limits documented.
An early Java, Spring Boot and PostgreSQL project exploring student deadlines. The repository describes what exists today.
An AI-assisted expense lab is in guided review: privacy, concurrent edits, repeated imports, and local OCR. A public case will follow the explanation and release review.
02 / THE JOURNEY
A new place.
More reasons to build.
My earlier technical experience in Peru included IT support and software development internships. It gave me a practical interest in how people use systems.
I moved from Peru to the United States. A new language and environment became part of the learning process.
I’m studying Computer Science and building web applications with AI assistance. My focus is learning to explain decisions, test behavior, and make changes myself.
THE REASON TO BUILD
Less time on a repeated task. A clearer shared decision. One less thing to forget. These are the kinds of problems I want to learn to solve.
Explore one small idea03 / BENEATH THE SURFACE
I’m learning how inputs become validated data, and what should happen when a step fails.
The example receives a fictional amount. Follow it through the four steps.
A simplified visual model, prepared with AI assistance. No server request, database write or financial transaction happens here.
04 / HOW I BUILD
Define who it helps, what matters, and the smallest useful result.
Use assistants for implementation, exploration and debugging. Be clear about their contribution.
Trace the behavior, question the output and practice a modification I can explain.
JavaScript / Java / PostgreSQL / Astro / Cloudflare / AI assistants
A learning toolkit, not a claim of equal proficiency in every technology.
LET’S COMPARE NOTES
I welcome engineering feedback, technical communities, and conversations about future opportunities.
